Get to Know Our Experienced, Long-Standing Team
At Lillington Dental Care, we’re fortunate to have many team members that have been with us for decades. In fact, several of them have been caring for families in the area for so long that the children that they saw over a decade ago now bring their own children in to see us! Our team is incredibly proud of the community that they’ve created here at the practice and love building lasting, meaningful relationships with every patient, helping them feel welcome and comfortable. Kim, Office Manager
Kim brings a level of expertise and knowledge to our practice that helps patients breeze through the insurance and planning side of care thanks to her 20+ years of experience. Everyone in the office refers to her as the Chaos Coordinator because no matter what gets thrown at her, she always makes sure the practice continues to deliver top-rated care. One of her favorite parts of her career is being able to see the transformations in patients’ smiles from the beginning to the end of their treatment. Kim attended Johnston Community College and has experience in insurance, billing, and treatment planning, as well as minor chairside procedures and sterilization. She’s also CPR-certified.
Whenever Kim isn’t at the dental office, you can find her spending time with her husband, two children, and four grandchildren. She also loves reading, taking care of her exotic houseplants, splitting wood, and going to the gym. An interesting fact about Kim is that she’s a practical joker.
Somer, Scheduling & Insurance Coordinator
Somer is Lillington Dental Care’s Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator. She has several years of experience under her belt, and her favorite part of her job is being able to meet new people every day. She’s also passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and welcomed into a place that can sometimes feel intimidating. She’s a graduate of Central Carolina Community College and UNC Wilmington. Somer is CPR-certified and has over two decades of experience in front office administration at family medicine and optometry practices.
Somer has a husband and two small children. You can always find her learning about history, archaeology, and horticulture, and she loves learning everything she can about the great state of North Carolina. Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her visiting the beautiful North Carolina beaches and mountains, and on the weekends, she loves spending time with friends and family, working outside in the yard, and squeezing in a little cat nap. An interesting fact about Somer is that she loves making people laugh and has an animated personality—she’s always looking on the bright side of things, too!
Jessica, Certified Dental Assistant
Jessica brings over a decade of experience to Lillington Dental Care as a Certified Dental Assistant. Her favorite aspects of her career are helping patients overcome their dental anxiety, getting patients out of pain, and helping patients look and feel their best. She’s a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College and has been a nationally certified dental assistant for over 10 years.
Whenever Jessica isn’t in the office, you can find her spending time with her husband, Tyler, their three children, and their Goldendoodle. She loves Jesus, going to new places, boating and beaching, fishing, and cooking. She also enjoys entertaining friends and family at her family’s camper in Sneads Ferry and refinishing furniture. An interesting fact about Jessica is that she always eats everything she puts on her plate (and maybe your plate, too!) – she never wastes food!
Casi, Dental Assistant
Casi is our second dental assistant at Lillington Dental Care. She completed her dental assisting program at Central Carolina Community College in 2020 and has been working at the practice ever since! One of Casi’s favorite parts of her career is helping others feel confident in their smiles.
Originally from Lillington, Casi is married and has one “bonus baby,” two cats, and two dogs. In her free time, she loves gardening, traveling, decorating, cooking, and helping her church with productivity planning for the children during the holidays. An interesting fact about Casi is that she originally started on a nursing path but ended up finding her love for dentistry during her time in that program!
Brooks, Registered Dental Hygienist
Brooks is one of our skilled Registered Dental Hygienists. She brings well over a decade of experience to Lillington Dental Care, and one of her favorite parts of her job is taking time to get to know her patients to be able to determine their unique and individual needs. This allows her to educate them about their oral health and how it relates to their life and overall health. She completed her training at Central Carolina Community College, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2011. Every year, she completes several hours of continuing education, and she’s CPR-certified.
Brooks is originally from Lillington and has a son who’s her mini best friend. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, reading, traveling, relaxing at the beach, going to concerts, and watching college sports. An interesting fact about Brooks is that she loves music, and her memory is overflowing with song lyrics!
Kristie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Our Registered Dental Hygienist, Kristie, has 20+ years of experience in the dental field, most of which have been spent right here at Lillington Dental Care. Her favorite part of her job is getting to spend time with and learn more about her patients. She completed her dental hygiene program at Fayetteville Technical Community College and does several hours of continuing education each year.
Originally from Lillington, Kristie enjoys baking, reading, and gardening whenever she isn’t at the office. An interesting fact about Kristie is that she hands out Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes at Halloween!
